Commissioned kit. Another longgggg longggg overdue commission. (Sorry about that btw friend!) But glad how she came out. It was deinitely a challenging kit, given the sheer amount of casting issues this original kit was. It just seemed like no vaccume / pressure pot was used or at least not enough in this mold making process that left to so many issues, ESPECIALLY the hair. There were so many airbubbles in the hair I almost gave up on the kit all together. (Sorry to say original sculptor, forgive me!). There were a few connectivity issue as well that didn't make too much sense, so I had to implement magnets in some areas for extra stability to pinned parts. I twas hard to pin some pieces for how some pieces had to be assembled, but got it to work. Some of the color theory was also changed based on my clients preferences versus the original concept art.
Modifications include:
- Tea Cup (3d sculpted and printed)
- Tea Splash (3d sculpted and printed)
- Henshin / Soul Gems (3d sculpted and printed)
- The poncho draw strings are made of metal for stability.
- Picture frame found in craft store and the strawberry pattern is digitally made and printed. Represents a scene in the series as well as the teacup
