1/4 Princess Serenity (Modified)
Commissioned kit. Commission Finally Completed after SO many years T__T; It has been a longtime coming, given my sheer backlog and the fact that she was INDEED super huge, I lacked space on a lot of occasions working on this gal. The original kit was sculpted nude, so no ornaments were on her aside from a "doll dress" thaty was poorly manufactured, this is including the SAME dress that was in the "original" kit. Since I felt weird just painting her nude and not including something more for her, we went back and fourth on the idea of having her top torso in the manga style, but implementing a way where she can later on sew a dress bottom for her that can be applied at anytime. For photos sakes, I did make a "temporary" dress for Serenity since it be akward for photo taking ^^; In the end with my lack of sewing knowledge on this fabric, didn't come out half bad!
Modifications include:
- Cutting her torso so I could and sculpt mod her torso into manga version. This was achieved by using putty, silver grommets, flat back pearls and electrical wire (surprisingly).
- 3D sculpted earrings and shoulder pads and printed them to scale. Took a few measurements for the diameter and shape of her arms and added extra "cushion" spacing in the 3D model so their was no paint rub, or at least, not as much.
- Shortened her neck so she didn't look like a giraffe anymore.
- Quick made her dress and lingerie for some modesty, I am no pro when it comes to sewing but it's something than just having a nude body xD Happy how it came out for the lingere since it was difficult hand stitching non stretchy stuff directly on a figure @-@; So that’s why those photos are included.
